Part IV: Rigid Managers > Compulsive Managers

Chapter 16. Compulsive Managers

Slaves to Work and Perfection

Compulsive managers are the ultimate rigid managers. They insist that things be done their way, not because it is the best way, but because it is the only way they can tolerate. Change and flexibility are outside of their skill set. Preoccupied with details and unable to see the big picture they cannot distinguish between what is important and what is not. This leads them to micromanage others.
