Frustration

Everyone encounters frustrations in life. We learn to adjust to most of them easily without hurting our relations with others. Sometimes, however, a major frustration or series of frustrations may cause our feelings to boil to the point where we lash out verbally and seriously injure or destroy a relationship we deeply treasure.

Naturally, many disturbing experiences occur on the job. In fact, most of your frustrations may be job oriented. The mechanic who climbs under a car to do a repair job, only to discover that he (or she) took the wrong wrench with him, becomes frustrated. A supervisor who must get a report in before going home to an important dinner engagement must cope with feelings of frustration.
