Everyone in the expanding global economy faces the challenge of judging people fairly and on their individual performances regardless of cultural background. Unless performance is judged fairly, mutually rewarding relationships cannot exist. The best place to learn this vital human lesson is in the workplace. The more opportunities you receive to work closely with those from other cultures, the greater your personal growth can be.

Since most prejudice comes from fear of the unknown, those who attempt to understand another person’s way of life will be less prejudiced and less likely to stereotype.
