Adjustment 5: Accept the Physical Connection

Apparently no one has been able to prove conclusively that there is a direct relationship between physical well-being and attitude. Most, however, including the most cynical researchers in the area, concede that there is a connection.

More than any previous generation, today’s young adults are aware of physical fitness. A surprising number incorporate daily workouts into their schedules. Their commitment to the “attitude connection” is expressed in these typical comments:
