4.1. Bounds

The rectangle that describes the location and size of a control within its parent is called the bounds of the control. The bounds of a control are expressed in pixels. For Shells, this is measured relative to the coordinate system of the Display; for all other controls it is relative to the parent. Figure 4.1 shows the bounds of a “group box.”
