Working with the Web

As you may recall, you can have VRML worlds as Web pages by themselves. That is, they take up all your Web browser's viewing area. Or you can put a VRML world in a frame on a Web page. Or you can embed a VRML world in a Web page, so that the VRML world and other Web-page elements like text and graphics and Java can reside on the same page. Using the External Authoring Interface (EAI) you can even have Java controls that talk to your VRML world.

But your VRML world is still inevitably inside a box, whether the box is the Web page, a frame, or a box in the Web page.
