Graphic Design

You've probably heard the story about the Inuit having dozens of words to describe the way in which water freezes into ice. I rather suspect that's a myth, but certainly it is true that it's extremely difficult to think about things for which you have no words.

Much as I'd like to, it isn't possible to give you a short course in graphic design in the few pages available to me. What I can do is give you some words, and examples of the concepts they represent. Even a cursory application of these simple concepts can help make the difference between a clunky, amateurish interface and a professional system that's a pleasure to use.
