Part: IV Interacting with the User > Managing Data Display

Chapter 15. Managing Data Display

In the last few chapters, we looked at how to display different types of data. Displaying data effectively is obviously critical for database applications, but it's only part of the equation. Your application must also allow users to interact with the data. With this chapter, we begin our exploration of managing the interactions between your application and its users. We'll examine the issues involved in displaying data and meta-data, and in allowing the user to navigate through a Recordset, and persisting the changes made by the user.
