Problem

After they complete their orders, if customers do not get confirmation or a receipt indicating that the order has gone through, they will be unsure of their order status and have to work to find confirmation evidence.

Online orders are not tangible; that is, customers cannot walk out with goods in their hands. Yet they must trust the online company that their money is not being stolen. What reassures people is a confirmation that shows everything in their order, and an order number to reference in case there is a problem. Without all this detailed information, customers might wonder what they ordered, and they might second-guess the company. If you include every element of an order, the customer can review the details and print out the confirmation for later reference. Suddenly an order becomes somewhat tangible.
