Provide Feedback about Why a Recommendation Was Made

One of the biggest problems with personalized recommendation schemes is that customers do not know how reliable the recommendations are. One way of addressing this concern is by providing some sort of feedback as to why a certain recommendation was made. It can be as simple as telling customers that the reason was that they also liked three other similar products. The key here is to avoid describing how the algorithm works at a highly technical level because that will simply confuse customers.
