Provide a Return Process Funnel

After receiving a shipment, opening it, and finding that one or more of the items ordered are incorrect, broken, or unwanted, a customer might put the items back in the box and return them immediately. Some customers, however, might not put the items right back in the box because they do not realize they have a problem. These customers might throw away the return label or the box itself. By providing a way to generate a label on the site, a company can help customers through the process of returning an item and getting their money back, and helping itself sort through the returned merchandise. A PROCESS FUNNEL (H1) can simplify returns to a few clicks and a page print.

Have customers find the previous order containing the item that needs to be returned. There might be many orders, so provide a list and the order contents. Make the order easy to find, even if customers do not know the order number or exact date, or if the order was a gift from someone else.
