Use Titles and Bread Crumbs

When you add a new page to your site, you have to write a new title. Using a system similar to LOCATION BREAD CRUMBS (K6), base the title of the page on the path that a customer would take to get there. This helps customers locate the page again later, while providing some important context about the page.

CNN uses an approach like this on its site, by using its Web site name, the article type, the article name, and the date to title its Web pages. Here are two page title samples:
