Make Posting Painless

People can create new messages or reply to a current message. Place ACTION BUTTONS (K4) that lead customers to these two options on every message, to let them continue conversations. Also provide just the New Message ACTION BUTTON (K4) in strategically placed locations to let community members start new conversations.

Place the message to which visitors are replying on the same page where they are composing their new message because they may be responding to one or several points. Create a form so that customers can edit their messages. Customers creating new messages need fields, one for the title and one for the body. When replying to a message, automatically create the title on the basis of the original message by using the term re, as in “Re: What is the best book to buy on cooking pasta?” Community members can change the title if they want to. Also be sure to have a Submit Message ACTION BUTTON (K4) at the bottom of the form.
