Controlling Page Dimension

Here are a few helpful methods to gain maximum control over screen space when designing for the limitations of the Web, beyond those already discussed.

The first place to find control over screen space is to understand that it is a very, very small space that allows little or no opportunity to vary its borders. I call this problem constraint. Web space is constrained space. When I get home from a long day out and about, the first thing I do is take off my dress shoes. My feet are overjoyed to be free of the constraints. I believe that learning how to manage your sites effectively in constrained space will immediately affect the comfort of your site visitors, making them feel relaxed, at ease, and prepared to enjoy your Web site.
