Linking Images

So far, the examples used in this chapter show hypertext links. In other words, it's text that is active. However, as mentioned earlier, a variety of media—particularly images—can be made "hyper," or linkable.

Using images as links is easy to do, too. All that is necessary is to place the image within the context of the anchor tag, and that image will become hyper—anchored to the relative or absolute link that you've designated:
