Combining HTML and Graphic Type Successfully

It can be tempting to create all your headers and font changes as graphic images, relying on HTML text only for the body of your content. Don't underestimate the potential of using HTML, however. You can use the color, size, and face attributes of the FONT tag to create a clean, readable Web site that meshes well with your images.

CareerBuilder is such a site. CareerBuilder helps visitors polish their resume and interview skills and search thousands of listings to find a job. Content certainly takes precedence over bells and whistles on this site. If you look at the design, however, you will see that Career-Builder has made good use of HTML typography to generate a basic but compelling site.
