Type Properties and Values

You can apply a range of properties to typefaces using style sheets, and you can apply an admirable selection of values to those properties. I'll focus on the most immediate and familiar here so that you can get started quickly using them in your designs.

As with standard HTML fonts, properties are available to control size and color. With style sheets, unlike HTML fonts, you can also control the weight and style of a typeface, as well as line height, also known as leading, which is the measurement between individual lines of set type.
