Creating a Link

There are two principal ways for your visitors to get from one card to another. You can either create links within the page, or you can assign functions to a mobile device’s buttons.

To create a link in the page

1.
Type <anchor

2.
If desired, type title=“label”, where the browser will use the label to identify the anchor in some way, often as the label for the button the visitor will have to click to activate the link. (The default is Link.)

3.
If desired, type accesskey=“n”, where n is the number on the mobile device keypad that the visitor should type to activate the link.

4.
Type >.

5.
Type the text and/or insert the image that should identify the anchor in the text.

6.
Type <go href=“#cardid”>, where cardid is the value of the id attribute of the card that should be displayed when the visitor clicks the link (see step 2 on page 372).

Or type <prev> to have the link go to the previous card viewed.

Or type <refresh> to have the link refresh the card, and any variables it contains.

7.
Create any additional actions that should happen. For example, with all three tasks, you could set a variable (see page 383), and in go tasks you can also post data to an external script (see page 388).

8.
Type </go>, </prev>, or </refresh> depending on what you used in step 6.

9.
Type </anchor>.
