Testing Your Page

Many Web page editors offer an automatic or manual way to check your HTML syntax. Although it's a good idea to take advantage of such features, you should always test your HTML pages in at least one browser, and preferably four (Netscape and Explorer for Macintosh and Windows).

Inevitably you will have to make adjustments to your HTML code. You only need to forget one angle bracket for your page to look completely different from what you expected. Other times what you thought might look OK looks awful.
