Clipping an Element

You can create a window that only reveals a particular section of the element. Currently, the window must be a rectangle, but the idea is that other shapes will be available in future revisions of CSS.

To clip an element:

1.
Type clip: rect(.

Type t r b l, where t, r, b, and l are the top, right, bottom, and left coordinates of the rectangular portion of the element that you want to display (Figure 16.35).
