Creating a Simple Frameset

Think of a frameset as a window with individual panes. Each pane shows different information. You decide how many panes your window will have, what size each pane will be, how its borders should look and if it should have scroll bars or not. Once you've built the window, you create the initial landscape behind the window by assigning individual URLs to each pane, that is, frame.

Figure 10.1. The frameset page has no actual content. Instead, it defines the frames and links them with the pages that hold the content.
