Flash 8 Professional along with QuickTime let you use the FLV QuickTime Export plug-in to export FLV files from various supported video-editing applications. Once saved, you can import these FLV files directly into Flash using File > Import > Import to Library for use in your Flash documents. An advantage to FLV files is that they can be played back dynamically at runtime to give you a streamlined workflow. For example, you can select encoding options for video and audio content as you export, including frame rate, bit rate, quality, and other options. Then you can import FLV files directly into Flash without needing to re-encode the video after import. Since large video files can take several minutes to import into Flash, this saves time.
