Chapter 14. Using ActionScript Behaviors > Using the Goto Play and Stop Behavio...

Using the Goto Play and Stop Behaviors

The Goto Behaviors give you control over the Timeline of a movie clip that’s embedded within the active movie. For example, you can create a Flash movie clip that holds several images spaced equally on the Timeline, and use the Goto and Play options to let the visitor control the slideshow. The Play/Stop Goto Behaviors are different then the Play and Stop Behaviors. With the Goto portion of the behavior, you can direct the playhead to a specific point on the Timeline, and then continue to play, or stop the movie clip.
