Chapter 13. Applying Timeline Effects > Using the Transition Effect

Using the Transition Effect

The Transition Timeline effect changes an objects alpha (transparency), and lets you incorporate a transitional effect called Wipe, which collapses the object from the top, bottom, left or right. The Transition effect can be used as a transition between images in a slide show, or as a novel way to have an object disappear from the Stage. In truth, the uses for Timeline effects are as varied as the designers that use the Flash application.
