Hot Objects

Hot Object may seem like a strange name for a learning interaction; the name is less obvious than some of the others. A Hot Object learning interaction allows you to ask a question and then allows the users to choose one or more correct answers from a series of graphics. For example, if you’re using cars as the theme of your quiz, you can show the users between one and eight images of cars and ask a question that can have one or more correct answers. You may ask which cars are made by Ford or which cars are no longer in production.

Configuring a Hot Object Learning Interaction

If you want to configure a Hot Object learning interaction, starting with the broken-apart learning interaction, again open the Component Parameters panel. To complete the panel for a Hot Object, simply work through the Component Parameters panel for the interaction. Completing the component parameters should now be straightforward; the procedure for this task follows the same logic as the previous ones. Start by giving the interaction an ID; then type the question that users will be presented with. Finally, add a check to the Correct check box for each correct answer in the interaction.
