Printing Flash Content

Printing may seem the antithesis of many kinds of Macromedia Flash content, such as animation, video, and audio effects. How do you freeze and effectively capture multimedia content on paper? However, you cannot escape the fact that users will want and, in some cases, need to print portions of your Flash sites. Order confirmations, instructions, lengthy articles or text, and form data are all types of content that users may need to print.

With the diverse types of content that can be delivered in Flash sites, it is especially important to control the option to print. As with accessibility and general usability, the onus is on the Flash designer and developer to provide the means to print critical pieces of Flash sites.
