Sequencing Actions Using Execution Order

System events execute in a definite order in relation to the Main Timeline and the timelines of any child movie clips. Three main factors must be taken into account: first, the relative positions of the layers the events occur in; second, the position in the clip hierarchy (such as main movie, child clip) of the clip containing the event; and, finally, the type of event, such as data load using attachMovie(), loadMovie(), or duplicateMovieClip(), clip initialization using #initclip and #endinitclip, clip loading and unloading using onClipEvent(load) and onClipEvent(unload), onLoad and onUnload, or enter frame using onClipEvent(enterFrame) and onEnterFrame.
