Flash at Work: Video Interactivity

The capability to embed video in Flash MX means that users can control the delivery of video content—and not simply by using playback controls. As an example, with careful editing and compression to keep file size down, multiple video clips can offer user-controlled non-linear narratives. Further, it is possible to employ Flash text to offer optional video subtitles in multiple languages. Combining the capabilities of video and Flash can provide a highly individualized user experience.
