When an icon for the CD appears on your desktop, open the disc by double-clicking on its icon. Double-click on the icon named Guide to the CD-ROM, and follow the directions that appear. What's on the Disc The companion CD-ROM contains many useful third-party tools and utilities, plus the source code and JavaScript samples from the book. Note If Windows 95 is installed on your computer, and you have the AutoPlay feature enabled, the START.EXE program starts automatically whenever you insert the disc into your CD- ROM drive. Double-click on the icon representing your CD-ROM drive. Double-click on the icon titled START.EXE to run the installation program. Windows NT Installation Instructions 1. 2. 3. Insert the CD-ROM disc into your CD-ROM drive. From File Manager or Program Manager, choose Run from the File menu. Type <drive >\START.EXE and press Enter, where <drive > corresponds to the drive letter of your CD-ROM. For example, if your CD-ROM is drive D:, type D:\START.EXE and press Enter.
