Using Pop-Up Menus

The final interface element you'll examine is the pop-up menu. Many variations on the pop-up exist, but they share some basic features that help you define the parts you need and the interactions between them.

You can use pop-up menus as an alternative to radio buttons in forms, where only one of many items can be selected from a group. They also can be used as navigational elements, executing an action when an item is selected. This example looks at a simple pop-up menu and one way to construct it.
