Troubleshooting the Flash Environment

Some people skip the troubleshooting section and hunt their way through problems as they appear. Truth told, few sets of documentation completely offer solutions to the vast set of problems that appears during development. Some problems are the result of conflicting actions or requirements created by the developer. Others simply are misunderstandings about the way Flash is supposed to behave.

Most debugging in Flash occurs in the ActionScript arena. Basic animations often don't cause browsers to crash or runtime errors to develop. But more times than not, a simple mistake can affect a complex movie and render it useless.
