Drafting with the Graphics Tools

Part of any design process usually includes building on a good geometric foundation. Using simple shapes, such as lines, circles, ovals, squares, and rectangles, usually define that base; then other artwork is layered on top.

Flash comes with the usual options to render these shapes—just like any other graphics program—letting you set up something basic, such as an object in a scene or perhaps a general layout schematic in a baseline layer, on top of which you will build when you create a complex animation.
