Did You Know?

  • Use comments on frames to coordinate your development, particularly on large projects.

  • Frame-by-frame animation should be reserved only for short cartoon-style animations. For motion or deforming a single object over time, use tweening.

  • Onion-skinning is a great way to see what is in front of, and behind, your current frames without running the playback head forward and backward.

  • You cannot add more than one keyframe at a time, even if you have multiple frames selected. When you do select Insert, Keyframe, the frame farthest to the right is designated as a keyframe.
