General Problems with Layouts

There aren't too many problems that manifest from working with frames and layers. Keyframes don't typically have problems in themselves, but rather, the functions you try to execute on them create problems. The following sections list just a few global problems that developers run into when using frames and layers.

Maximum Frames and Layers

If the issue of maximum frame count becomes an issue, you probably have bigger problems than the fact that Flash has a 16,000-frame threshold. Beyond this limit, the movie will not play back. If you're approaching this limit, you should consider breaking the movie into much smaller chunks.
