Previewing the Animation

Before you get involved in creating an animation, you should review the controls you will eventually use to preview your work. There's no sense in building something and then hitting the books again to find out how to watch it.

You can approach the playback of your animation in several ways. Some of these are fairly manual, and others utilize the player controls. Both types are efficient for various reasons, but it is important to remember the discussion in Chapter 1 about shortcuts. If anything in Flash begs to have shortcut keys, it is your playback options.
