Using Boolean Variables

Boolean values are very simple. Only two of them exist: true and false. Boolean values are the building blocks of computer data and are often written as 1 (true) and 0 (false).

Knowledge of how Boolean values work is important because expressions made up of numbers, strings, or other types of data can be compared to each other, and when they are, they end up as Boolean values.
