Making The Honeycomb Site Accessible

The Honeycomb site will be viewed mainly by children of various ages. Some of these children might be visually impaired and might have a screen reader application installed on their computers. Therefore, The Honeycomb site needs to be accessible to a screen reader.

Creating an Accessibility Movie Description

Next, you will use Flash MX’s new Accessibility feature to make The Honeycomb site, its buttons, and its messages accessible to a screen reader. Because you used a graphic for the site logo, this can’t be read by a screen reader. Therefore, you will add a title for the site and a description of the site that the screen reader application can read. To do this, follow these steps:
