Combination Transitions

Simple transitions used alone are fine and are frequently all that you need. However, there are times when you’ll want to layer transitions to achieve a richer and more complicated effect.

The camera flash, for example, is a common simple technique; it’s nothing more than inserting a single white frame to give the effect of a camera flash going off. However, by combining a flash with a fade to black, you create a more complex transition.
