Part: II Animating in Flash > Using Motion Tween to Animate

Hour 8. Using Motion Tween to Animate

Creating an animation frame-by-frame (as we did last hour) can be a lot of work, because you have to draw every frame yourself. With tweening, Flash will fill in the blank frames between two keyframes. Flash has two types: Motion Tweening and Shape Tweening. This hour we'll cover Motion Tweening.

This hour you will

  • Create a Motion Tween

  • Learn the four basic properties of a Motion Tween

  • Experiment with the effects of “ease in” and “ease out”

  • Use tricks to make your Motion Tweens look natural and realistic
