Chapter 3. Creating Shape Tweens > Finishing the Interface

Finishing the Interface

Although the interface is almost complete, there are a few elements left that you need to create: the text and some buttons. You use the drawing tools in Flash to create vector graphics for each of these elements, which keeps the overall file size low (a definite plus). Additionally, you use the Free Transform tool to modify the text for the titles so it appears to bend with the rectangle title graphic you created previously.

Exercise 6: Creating movie clip buttons

Although part of each menu movie clip is shape tweened, as you finished in an earlier tutorial, the buttons in the menu are motion tweened instead. Continue using interface.fla for this example, which creates some simple movie clip buttons for the interface. Exercise 8 motion tweens the buttons.
