Chapter 13. Working with Vector Art > Making Your Own Color Swatches

Making Your Own Color Swatches

Very often, when you're working on a project, it is useful to have your own color swatches, if not your own color palette entirely. The Color Swatches panel gives you a way to construct your own palette, save it, and share it with other members of your team, who can then load it easily.

Open the Color Swatches panel by selecting Window > Design Panels > Color Swatches. By default, the Web 216 color palette is loaded; it can be cleared by selecting the Color Swatches option menu, then choosing Clear Colors.
