Chapter 12. Using Artwork Created Elsewhere > Importing PDF and EPS Files

Importing PDF and EPS Files

When you import a PDF file, Flash looks at the underlying structure of it. You can import your pages as either scenes or keyframes, retain your layers, flatten them, or import them as keyframes, import all your pages or a range of pages, and finally, include invisible layers, maintain your text blocks, or rasterize everything.

If you decide to rasterize your PDF, you can specify the resolution at which Flash rasterizes it, either selecting from the pull-down menu, or specifying your own target resolution.
