Determining Site Dimensions

Knowing your audience will help you to make decisions about the physical size of your Flash application. The physical size relates to a user's viewable area within a browser, which in turn is determined by their monitor resolution. While Flash applications are scaleable in a browser, you still want your design to be optimized for a particular monitor resolution.

NOTE

The smallest monitor resolution in wide use is 640 x 480.
