Changing Component Appearance

Changing component appearance means using ActionScript. It's best to write the ActionScript that accomplishes this task in a frame, usually the first frame in a layer named Actions, so that the components are changed right away.

There are three different ways to change appearance: using styles, creating a theme, or creating new skins (those are the graphic assets).
