Editing Video

If you want to edit your video before importing it into your Flash project, you can do so with the Video Import Wizard. Create smaller clips of your video, delete selected portions, or rearrange video sequences in order to import just the video you need, the way you want it. The Editing (Customize) options of the Video Import Wizard provides all the tools you need to edit your imported video (Figure 2.18). Establishing the video’s In and Out points is the first step in doing any video edits. The In and Out points identify the beginning and the end of a video segment you wish to save in the Video Clip window. You can import your video clip into Flash, or once you have several video clips in the Video Clip window, you can import them as separate videos or rearrange them and combine them into one single video to import.
