Slash Notation and tellTarget

So far in constructing your target paths, you’ve been using dots to separate nested movie-clip objects. Flash also allows you to insert target paths by using slashes. The slash syntax is the notation used by earlier versions of Flash and may provide a more comfortable way of working for some long-time Flash users. The Insert Target Path dialog box gives you the choice of slash or dot notation (Figure 5.35).
