Lesson 9. Using the Sound Object

Lesson 9. Using the Sound Object

In this lesson, you will learn how to work with sound, and you will make a music toggle and the merfolk choir, an interactive sound-mixing activity for children. Both of these items use the new Macromedia Flash Sound object, which you will learn about in this lesson. The merfolk-choir application also uses sliders to control the volume of the sounds.

The members of the Musical Merfolk choir are able to sing at different volumes after you create volume sliders.

  • Use the Sound object

  • Control sound volume through the slider

  • Create a sound toggle
