Chapter 5. Sound > Sound Properties

Sound Properties

Each sound you import into Flash has its own properties. While you have learned that individual instances of the same sound can play at different volumes, loop differently, and play at varying lengths, adjustments made to a sound's properties are made to the master sound, which means they affect all instances of that sound. The main adjustments you'll make to a master sound will affect how it's optimized and compressed in the exported .swf file.

You use the Sound Properties dialog box to adjust a sound's properties.
