Adding Sounds to the Timeline

A sound that you have imported and placed in the library is considered the master version of that sound. Copies of that sound—which you will use at various points in your movie—are considered instances of that sound (Figure 5.3). Whenever you update the master version of a sound, all instances of it will reflect that change.
