Strokes and Fills

Every simple shape you create using Flash's drawing tools is made up of a stroke, a fill, or both, and every stroke or fill has a set of attributes that determines how it looks. For strokes, this includes things such as color, style, and thickness. For fills, this includes fill types such as solid color, gradient, and bitmap.

The Flash drawing toolbar has two color controls that you can use to quickly choose a stroke or fill color to apply to shapes that you're creating or editing (Figure 3.32). However, you'll probably need to adjust more than just these two attributes, and that's where the Stroke and Fill panel can help.
